I then said forget it I'm going to uninstall IE. I then found an article that said to use the Flash uninstaller, reboot, reinstall using a stand alone installation.same results. The I did the same thing directly on the Adobe site and when FlashShim.exe tries requesting internet access through my zone alarm firewall I grant it permission and I still get the same results. First the I used a site that I created and IE automatically asks you to install Flash with the plop down active x menu the I click install then the page reloads and I go through the same process.
With that being said after trying to reinstall the Flash 9.x player via the automatic popup in IE I do not get a successful installation. I recently uninstalled my Flash Player to install an archived version because I am a developer and needed to see how previous versions of Flash Player would runs sites.
